Antoni  Grover


Antoni Grover is a former Australian rules footballer who played as a defender for the Fremantle Football Club. After being taken at pick number 32 in the 1998 Rookie draft Antoni was elevated to the senior list in 1999 making his debut in round 21 against the Sydney Swans. After this he became an important and consistent performer in his defence showing off his strong spoiling and marking abilities. In round 4, 2003 Antoni along with 6 other Fremantle players became the record holders for the most indigenous players to represent an AFL side in a single game, that game Fremantle also kicked there highest score of 25.17 167. Antoni signed a contract extension in 2010 which allowed him to become the 5th Fremantle player and 1st indigenous Fremantle player to play 200 games. Antoni announced his retirement in 2012 after limited opportunities that season and played for Subiaco in the WAFL in 2013.
