Andrew Foster


Andrew Foster is a former Australian rules footballer taken at pick number 28 in the 2007 Rookie Draft by the Fremantle Football Club. During the 2007 season Andrew was elevated the to the senior list in replacement for Justin Longmuir who had been placed on the long term injury list. Andrew was named as an emergency for the round 18 Western Derby but didn’t play and then finally made his debut the week after against Essendon at Subiaco Oval. After playing three of the last four games in 2007, Foster has a horror 2008 season, only playing one game for Fremantle and four games for East Fremantle after a back injury ruled him out for the remainder of the season. Andrew was delisted by the Fremantle football club at the end of the 2009 season and has played for the Claremont Football Club ever since playing in 2 premierships including one unlucky grand final loss to Swan Districts in which Andrew kicked 3 goals.
